Yes. Just have to ignore all the strikeouts. Cpu offense is very balanced on this setup in regards to amount of hits, power, and hit distribution.

With the sim sliders do you keep everything default and just change pitching or you keep everything how it is ?

Re: S & B’s Directional/Classic MLB 23 Sliders

Will OP be updated to reflect the change to 7/6/7/0/4?

Also, I’ve noticed (unsure if it’s Fidelity rosters), but my Strikeout No’s (which were already on the high side, probably due to bad judgement and me chasing too many pitches) have inflated seriously. My AVG, OBP, SLG, OPS numbers are all looking good, I’m just sticking out way too much. What adjustments could you recommend?

Cheers!

Re: S & B’s Directional/Classic MLB 23 Sliders

I'm starting to believe something has changed with the hitting. The amount of hits I'm now getting has increased and the CPU hitting has also increased.

My hitting sliders:

USER
6 contact
6 power
0 timing
5 foul freq.
4 solid hits

CPU
8 contact
6 power
7 timing
5 foul freq.
4 solid hits

edit: I'm through 5 innings (Brewers) playing the Astros and I have 11 runs and 16 hits lol

You can keep the simulated sliders at default except for the CPU SP and RP Stamina, hook, injuries, and trade slider. But the game play sliders do not matter.

Re: S & B’s Directional/Classic MLB 23 Sliders

I know the lack of walks have been a problem for this game for quite awhile. I have problems drawing walks and giving up walks. I try to pitch outside the strike zone but the CPU seems to swing at bad pitches.
What sliders could I change to give up and draw walks without messing up other portions of the game. Thanks

You could raise timing to 1 or 2 and see how that goes. It will make you have contact when you are early on those breaking balls. Or what you could do is raise offspeed pitch by 1. That will help with your timing a little. A little unconventional but it will help and some people on here use that.

Or lower the pitch speed so you can read the pitches better.

I’ll update the OP with the new settings.
