Dolphins "PayBack" Patriots in Miami

Associated Press

The Miami Dolphins have been on the short end of the stick for most of this season and things didn't seem as they would change early when Kaiser #13 threw a pick six in the 1st quarter.

"Here we go again" said the Fins QB. But that would be the last resemblance of the last couple of games as the entire team stepped up at crucial parts of the game. Especially Ricardo Bush (CB) who intercepted Tom Brady two times, one for a touchdown.

The difference was the third quarter, where the Dolphins scored 17 unanswered points.

"I'm going to give these guys a day off and when we get back on Tuesday we're going to get ready for the undefeated NY Jets", Said Coach Shula.

Final Score: 36-14

We were also able to find video footage of Dolphins fans celebrating in New York after the win.

Needless to say, Coach Shula was happy:

Whats his speed, acceleration, and agility? I love a fast TE, gonna tear it up with Coby Fleener and his 88 speed in M13!

Re: How's Your Franchise Going- Madden 12 Edition

Finally at the end of season one with the Bills. Finished with a record of 9-7, just missing out on the playoffs. It was a promising year when we started 5-1, but significant injuries to out LB core put a hamper on the best run defense in the league. We ended up with the 20th ranked run defense by the end of the season. On the flip side, this is the most health the Bills offense has ever been, though, we lost our starting center in the middle of the season for the year.

Notables:

Ryan Fitzpatrick - 3859 Passing YDs 21 TDs
Fred Jackson - 1359 Rush YDs 10 TDs
Steve Johnson - 1038 Receiving YDs 11 TDs
Nick Barnett - 116 TACKLES
Chris Kelsay - 9 SACKS
Terrence McGee - 6 INT

Entering the off-season, we need coaches who will know what they are doing. This Bills team is lacking consistency. We ended up firing our head coach and kept our outstanding special teams coach. Hired rookie head coach Jack Looman. He brings the consistent play that we are looking for. We believe this because he won 2 national titles coaching college football. Hired OC Isacc Cummings. He is the type of coordinator that will get the offense of line to play their best. If we want to win a championship, we need to have our offensive line playing their best. Hired Dom Capers as our DC. He will help all of our young players learn how to tackle better. We need our players to wrap up, not just go for the big hit!

Re-Signings

Steve Johnson - WR - 7 Year $64.89M
Leonard Weaver - FB - 4 Year $7.84M
Erik Pears - RT - 4 Year $24M
George Wilson - SS - 3 Year $9M
Kraig Urbik - RG - 4 Year $5.48M
Shawne Merriman - 2 Year $9.9M
Kirk Morrison - MLB - 1 Year 750K
Noel Divine - HB - 4 Year $11.4M

Signings

Osi Umenyiora - RE - 3 Year $31.86M
Rodgers-Cromartie - CB - 5 Year $24.87M
Kyle Love - DT - 4 Year $19.23M
Harry Douglas - WR - 5 Year $17.55M
Erin Henderson - LOLB - 5 Year $8.51M
Garry Williams - LT - 5 Year $19.21M

Drafted

1st - Mitch Hess - DT

3rd - Vernard Andrews - LOLB
4th - Aerion Haynes - TE
5th - Roosevelt Belton - WR
6th - Denzel Anthony - CB

All rookies signed their deals. Good sign that we drafted smart players who want to play the game and not be money hungry.

Re: How's Your Franchise Going- Madden 12 Edition

2nd game of yr had us up against the redskins and RG3 ... redskins recieve the kickoff and RG3 leads them right down field for 14 yard TD pass to fred davis 7-0 skins. first drive for browns is 3 and out skins get ball back but they to have a 3 and out series browns ball and weeden gets the browns going hitting different wr's finally resulting in a 7 yard TD pass to cribbs 7-7 tie end of first quarter. redskins ball and yet another 3 and out browns ball and the huge play of second quarter was a 15 yard face mask which would of made browns punt on 3 and 11 which was 2 yards short.... very next play results in a 23 yard TD run where richardson not only did one spin move but 2 that left 3 redskins defenders bumping into each other but also spun 3rd right out his cleats 14-7 browns skins and browns trade FG's ended the 2nd quarter 17-10. 3rd quarter starts and its a 3 and out for browns...next drive for skins and the browns release the dogs and sack RG3 2 times which results in yet another 3 and out next browns drive and weeden uncorks one to jackson for 45 yards setting up a richardson 1 yard td run 24-10 browns. next skins drive and RG3 seems to be feeling the pressure that the browns DC is bringing at him and throws a INT to haden which is returned 23 yards...few play later and richardson scores again 31-10. again skins ball and RG3 feeling pressure is sacked yet again browns score 2 more times and the final being 45-10 Weeden threw 3 TD's no INT's and yet again beat RG3 . the browns defense turned up heat and sacked RG3 6 times and completly shut down the reskins offense in 2nd half. Desean Jackson again lead browns in catches with 7 for 129 yards T Benjamin had 4 for 89 yards, Trent Richardson had 20 carries for 150 yards and 3 TD's... DQwell Jackson lead our defense with 8 tackles and 2 sacks.

I believe he has 90 SPD and 80-something ACC, AGI - will need to look it up.

Re: How's Your Franchise Going- Madden 12 Edition

Titans Update - Year 10
(This is going to be a long one)

We were sitting at 8-5 heading to Week 15, tied with the Jags for the division lead. We reeled off three straight wins to take the division (11-5) and make the Playoffs. We had the 26th ranked scoring offense combined with the #1 defense in points allowed, very similar to last season. Third down conversions plagued the team all year as we were dead last in the league (33%).

Season Stats:
QB Jake Locker - 3,121 yards, 22 TD/16 INT, 53%
WR Victor Cruz - 867 yards, 10 TD
MLB Michael Carrington - 151 tackles (3rd straight 150+ tackle season)
MLB Jaelin Gibson - 142 tackles, 5.0 sacks, 4 INT, 6 FF, 2 FR (Freak)
CB Dre Kirkpatrick - 8 INT
CB Darrelle Revis - 7 INT

Pro Bowlers - LB J Gibson, CB D Kirkpatrick, CB D Revis

Gibson ended the season with the most Pro Bowl votes of any player in the entire NFL (1.197 million). He picked up LB of the Year and was 2nd in DPOY voting (got robbed!) despite missing two games with broken ribs. His final stat line was 142 tackles (104 solo), 5 sacks, 4 INT, 6 FF, 2 FR and a game-winning TD. Insane. The dude had 103 tackles in his final eight games.

In the Divisional Round, we got the Ravens (they beat us 16-10 in OT during regular season). Locker and Cruz had uncharacteristically great games in a 59-14 beatdown of the Ravens. Locker had 415 yards and 4 TDs. Cruz had a career-high 286 yards and all 4 TDs on nine receptions. Feeling good..

In the Conference Championship, we faced off against the Raiders. Heading to Halftime, we were trailing 3-17. Thanks to big second half from HBs Demps and Haynes, we pulled out a 29-24 comeback win for a shot at a title defense against the Packers. Now I'm feeling really good..

Super Bowl LV
Titans vs. Packers

A little background on this matchup because it is necessary. Back in Year 3, during our first Playoff run, we lost to the Packers 22-25 (OT) in the Super Bowl. Then, in Year 5, we had a Super Bowl rematch with those same Packers. At the time, we were defending our title and did so successfully with a 28-20 win. So, we are pretty familiar with ole' Aaron Rodgers at this point.

So, here we are again, looking to defend the title for the second time, again with the Pack standing in the way.

Here is a highlight video of the game (still can't figure out the embedding thing). Warning - turn down your speakers before viewing, the music was louder than intended, at least when I listen to it.

The Pack seem to have our number in the big game as we fall to 1-2 against them in the Super Bowl. Ugh..

It was a great game. Carrington and Gibson were everywhere but Locker couldn't capitalize on anything and continually turned it over. Imagine that. The defense couldn't get off the field to catch their breath at all. Rodgers was making beautiful throws all day to keep them out there. No other quarterback was as efficient all season against us as he was in the single biggest game of the year.

After the game, a reporter caught up with Gibson in the locker room and he responded to the loss, saying, "I can't [expletive] believe we lost this game. We generated three turnovers and they [offense] stalled every time. The bigger the game, the more Jake [Locker] struggles, man. I can't do everything." Gibson was last seen slamming his helmet into his locker. I think he wanted to slam it into Locker, but his locker was the closest substitute.

Tough loss JHB.. Locker stunk up the joint I see. Haha! Your defense kept you in it but Locker kept giving the ball back the A.Rodgers with a short field. That video look good too..

I'm still downloading all the clips from my superbowl against the Patriots.. It was a good one.. I messed up and advanced to the offseason without getting my stats from that game.. Haha!
