The whole thing doesn’t make sense. In order to do the live start someone has to put the stats in for each game. Whether you do it week to week or just week 10. It’s gonna require the same amount of man hours. The state of franchise mode and overall communication of this game is very bad.

Honestly I think it’s gone after this year… if they even do another start point update this year. Sucks cuz it’s the only thing that kept me playing Madden. I’ll be waiting next year to see if it’s truly there since they never said this year it wouldn’t be… scumbags.

I think we're due for some different announcers If scheduling the announcers is a reason why it hasn't been done this year. I know Charles Davis is way more of a known entity now vs where he was back when he signed on in M17. Go get some different relative unknowns who have time to record new commentary each week.

That's my theory anyway.

This would be nice, but this is more than likely just the way it is because it is what EA has turned into. This is nothing new with how they've handled multiple franchises these days. Madden is treated no better than Battlefield at this point.

I'm not sure how much goodwill longtime Madden fans have left for the way Franchise mode has been handled by Tiburon, but the studio sure appears content to find out exactly how much remains and to burn through as much of it as they possibly can.

The equipment guru’s Twitter mentions is overflowed with people asking about this. Seems like a lot more people used this than they thought.

Apparently they’re saying to overflow Tuesday’s twitch stream with questions about franchise. Could be worth a shot ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
