The biggest issues I noticed with the default gameplay were the run game being overpowered both because of amazing blocking and too many broken tackles. Lowering blocking and tackling penalties have improved both significantly. DL and LBs are usually the first to reach the ball carrier on most runs instead of DBs. I still see broken tackles but now it seems more in line with ratings and it's more like 1 or 2 versus 3 or 4.

I'd really like others to try these out and see what kind of results you get. I've only played 3 games but I feel like these already play good enough to post.
Have you played any more games? I always find it interesting when someone lowers the penalty sliders - this is indicative that you're aware of how to manipulate the floor spacing to produce better gameplay.

Ok, with everything else @ 50 does the CPU still run enough with your set AND how is the INT rate for the HUM QB? At all 50s on All-Madden, I find the INT rate to be completely unrealistic.

I'm 8 games in with these sliders including 3 preseason games. My regular season has gone 31-24, 27-10, 31-30, 17-20, 23-26. I've thrown 5 ints and have 8 on defense (5 in 1 game). At the beginning of the season the AI was running more but that has been trending downward. I had the same issue with penalty sliders high though. I'm not sure why run pass ratio gets so out of whack. I'm 4 years into this franchise with the Raiders. Played 6 games against the Chiefs and they have like an 20/80 run/pass ratio. That is with multiple slider variations. I've been 32nd in pass defense every year.

Run pass ratio is driving me nuts. I changed every teams playbook to Bears and watched every game week 1 cpu vs cpu and got incredibly realistic results. But week 2 I simulated and every team had less than 150 passing and less than 25 attempts so that idea is now completely out the window. There’s gotta be a way to fix it.

The run ratio is especially frustrating when the rest of the league sim stats trend about 10 -15 plays the other way

Agreed. I'm always 32nd in pass defense and top 10 in run D. The sim engine is pretty close to a 50/50 ratio which is a problem in it's own right. It probably needs to be somewhere in the middle. I thought the issue was from tweaking sliders but it appears that is not the case. I tried default All Madden and thru the first half it was 8 runs. 22 passes.

It's not that bad at all. I've played with it at 95 and that's too high. With those settings I have the least amount of penalties in my cfm thru 14 games.

ive been trying these and they havent been to bad. the roughing the passer is horrible wayyyyy to high, i seen some replays and i was like umm they didnt even really touch.. maybe a bump into the QB, but i guess if it helps up the flags in the game, offsides nah not so much or even false starts, even when sometimes ill fake snap it, hard count,

idk i like madden this year but at the same time, idk, i get that it cant be 100000 percent real life, but i also just want talent and ratings to matter, but right now heck no it doesnt, at least for my defense, im the Niners 89 defense and we are giving up the 2nd most yards, pts and rushing yards per game, passing defense is like 28th, we give up 30 pts a game, the NINER defense,

infact my last game, against the Patriots really kinda irked me, mac jones went for 335 3 tds, both were season highs, coming into the game he was getting about 225 a game which is around mac jones level give or take,

but nope we end up giving up 335 yards, now yesss i get it in real life sometimes that can happen, but this is over the last 4 games our defense has been just ehhhh,

the play that really got me not sure if i wanna get back into it was the safety leaving the streaking TE wide open late in the game for a go ahead TD

no reason my safety should have left the TE who was coming right at him.. to go cover the out route that the corner already had covered, TE was left wide open boom 45 yard TD pass pats take the lead.. im down 3 i need FG to tie, on the kick off my guy fumbles it they recover and run out clock, dont get me wrong yesssss those things can happen.. i do like the outta the blue moments, like the fumble on a KR to seal the deal for the patriots, but its the wonky stupid coverages that go for TDs that really kill it for me

and like i said before.. my defense should not be giving up 133 rushing yards a game 295 passing a game and 30 pts a game, the 89 overall defense,

makes me wonder with that good of a defense how my stats would look if i was just doing a simulatuon GM career .... By the way my sliders are default 50
