The weird thing is, I sure thought I’d seen or heard it talked about that they were scanning jerseys and such into CFB. I don’t understand how the names and numbers could be incorrectly sized, if that were the case, but it seems they are.

I don’t want to make this a bash Madden thing, but I gotta say in this trailer alone you can see the passion for college football. You just don’t see that level of passion for the NFL in Madden. I’m picking up a digital copy for Series X and a physical copy on PS5.

That comparison shot illustrates perfectly in my eyes, that it is less about the numbers and names being off, and more about the body type. The game pic shows Ewers with an elongated and broader torso than he does IRL. Which makes the numbers look off, because there is more surface area. That's just how it goes when you have mass generated and limited body types, and aren't scanning players. What I see anyway. End of the day, video game gonna video game. These games will never be like real life, there will always have to be suspension of disbelief. It is what it is. I'm still hyped, and will play way too much of this game.

Can't tell if it's East Carolina or James Madison. I think it's ECU.

I was too…but the beauty of that shot had most of my attention. I was wondering if it was a Team Builder school? But ECU would make sense.

Man, some of these shots are so photorealistic, that if a stranger walked in the room and looked at it, they wouldn’t be able to tell the difference. The shot of Baylor running onto the field, and Duke running out of the locker room look so realistic!

Definitely excited for this to come out.

I have been losing interest in sports games the last few years and this is just the game I need to re-kindle my enjoyment of sports gaming.
