Old School Boxing games!

What boxing games does everybody remember playing? Anybody play ABC Wild World of Sports boxing in the early 90s? It was a pc game. Designed your boxer, picked your manager & trainer, & bought boxing equipment. Pretty basic gameplay but I loved it at the time!

My first boxing game was Intellivision Boxing. Not bad in its day.

LOVED Ring King for the NES.
Every fighter had different attributes so you had to actually keep in mind where your opponents strengths were. Some were super quick, some heavy handed, some had it all.

Not only was the career mode pretty good for an NES game, but you could spar in preparation for your next pro fight.
The only negative about it was if you lost in sparring, it showed up on your career record.

But the game was a lot of fun. You could even knock guys out of the ring if you had them against the ropes and threw a big uppercut.
I had to order it online via a game magazine to get it. Only cost me $8. Sweet!

Ring King was awesome!! I can still hum the music that played during fights. Had these huge uppercuts that sent a guy flying. Imagination was important back then. Lol!!

And the still haven't patched that yet. Slackers!

My friend and I played Ring Kings and a wrestling game (can't think of its name) for hours at a time. Great game.

Anyone remember 4D Boxing? This game was one of the best boxing games ever for me. Just pure fun, and the fighter names were added entertainment.

And there was also of course...

Another video of 4D Boxing that showcases the implementation of actual boxing, as well as the variety of camera types... they even had 1st person!
