This would be an interesting scam to cook up.

Step 1) Be a good looking woman (most important step)
Step 2) Get a 14 year old kid to cry "she sexed me up" - not true, of course.
Step 3) Get more free publicity than you can shake stick at. [marketing is a very cash heavy endeavor] Get people to say "Wow! I can't believe that a girl as cute as that would do such a thing."
Step 4) At the trial, the kid comes forward and says he was lying, gets off with slap on the wrist.
Step 5) Tap the Shit out of your 15 minutes. Write book, pose for Playboy, maybe get a cameo in a SNL movie. Basically get Survivor-like fame for about 6 -12 months.
Step 6) Work all that into some kind of long term monica lewinsky-type industry.

Risks: sullied reputation. People will still think you did it. Probably never teach again.

Rewards: pop-celeb status for a least 6 months. Invited to cool hollywood parties. Cash from book and playboy spread (more dough than teaching until retirement).
