Dan O'Halloran's season-best 18 rebounds includes the 1000th rebound of his collegiate career. It's altogether fitting for
Double-Double Dan to have at least a thousand points and boards in Villanova colors.
Now it's time to take a closer look at
Kai Smith's chances of becoming a member of the very exclusive 1000-point, 1000-assist club. Kai's seven helpers today give him 939 for his career. He could have as few as two more games remaining, or as many as nine. Kai is averaging 8.4 APG this season; last year, his mark was 8.2. At his current assist rate, Kai will need eight games to reach his goal. For several reasons, I hope he gets those eight games and those 61 assists.
