AS if the state of basketball at Virginia Tech couldn't get any worse, they lose their 7th player to the portal. In the last week or so VT:
- Flamed out of both the men's NIT and women's NCAA
- Georgia Amore, 3rd team AA, announces she's leaving
- VT Women's coach leaves for Kentucky
- The top 7 men's players leave the program - 2 graduated, 5 to the portal
It was a good 3-5 year run, not gonna lie, both teams won their first ACC championships, but this is looking a very very dark time for VT Basketball.
