There's more good news from the recruiting front. Coaches Sims and Volkman have worked more of their magic, and we've secured a commitment from five-star guard

At first glance, it might be difficult to see how Peter could be one of the top guards in the country. He isn't a big scorer; he's not a dazzling ballhandler and passer; he doesn't leap out of the gym. But he does all these things fairly well, and he plays better defense than any guard I've ever recruited. He never seriously considered playing anywhere else, but he took his time with his commitment, just to be extra sure.
Peter is quick and athletic enough to lock down the most talented perimeter players. And even though he's 6'3" and slender, his solid fundamental skill enables him to defend much larger post players, too.
We shouldn't need Segal to score much, not with players like
Asher Wise in his class and other scorers, like
Tony Ezell and
Avery Sullivan, in the classes just ahead of his. If Peter, the latest in a string of New Jersey prep stars to play for
Graham Sims, can neutralize our opponent's top player, he'll more than suitable for purpose.
We have one more scholarship available, and we're still hoping to add another post player
