KAMARI STONE
When I recruited Kamari, I described him as an "orchestrator," the kind of guard who runs his team's offense and distributes the ball to his high-scoring teammates. He wanted to play for Lafayette very badly, and we gave him the opportunity to do so. I'm so glad we did.

Quick and tenacious, Kamari was a relentless on-ball defender. He developed into the secure ball-handler I hoped he would become, with an assist/turnover ratio as good as any point guard we've had here. His stats were never dazzling, and that's probably why he was only named to an all-conference team once.
Kamari will leave Lafayette ranked second all-time in assists, 15 dimes behind Ben Miele. He owns two of the five highest single season totals in that category. He's also fifth in steals, and he'd have had to turn the ball over 47 more times to appear on the career list in that category. That was

Kamari has already made arrangements to play professionally in Germany, and he thinks he might like to pursue an MBA when his playing career ends.
