Theodore's statistics won't open many eyes.
Kenton Lashley regularly took more shots in a single game than Theodore did in his career. But everyone connected with the Lafayette basketball program understands how important the big man from the Sunshine State truly was. Theodore was a superb defensive player. His efforts in practice honed the skills of a succession of Lafayette big men, including
Kurt Ritchie and
Carter Todd.
As a high school senior, the experts believed there were over 1600 basketball players better than Theodore in his class. Five years later, he's wearing an NCAA championship ring on his finger, and he'll be graduating with a degree in economics. He'll work for a year while he prepares his applications for graduate school.
