I thought Saturday was (as it commonly is) a market drop and buying opportunity. Was wrong. I spent some idle weekend time messing around, watching the 90-rated player market, and buying low, selling high, as is my usual wont.
Sunday night, I saw several 90 cards dropping below their usual "buy" levels (e.g. 90 Joe Montana selling at 225 instead of the usual bottom around 245K) and I bought several, thinking I'd make money selling them back near 300K. Instead, that was apparently the start of an oddly times market reset for those cards...and I got stuck being more card-rich than I would have wanted.
Now I have 7-8 90-rated cards I didn't intend to keep on my hands, with the market apparently settling in by Monday at that 220-or-so level for them. Ugh. Won't be a massive loss, but I might lose 300K or so in equity by the bad timing.
