**First Blood Match for the United States Championship: Randy Savage (Heel) vs. Sting (Champion, Face)**

**Event: Clash of Champions**

**Location: Nashville, TN**

### Pre-Match Atmosphere:

The energy in Nashville is electric as the stage is set for a First Blood match that has captivated the wrestling world. "Macho Man" Randy Savage emerges first, his entrance music blaring, as he strides down the ramp with a wild look in his eyes. The crowd showers him with boos, but Savage seems to draw power from their disdain. He's dressed for war, not a wrestling match, and his intensity is palpable.

Then, the arena lights dim, and a single spotlight shines on the entrance as Sting's music hits. The crowd erupts into cheers as Sting appears, his iconic face paint more vivid against the darkness of the arena. He carries his trademark baseball bat, a symbol of his readiness for battle. The United States Championship is around his waist, and he looks every bit the warrior champion the fans adore.

Tony Schiavone's voice booms over the airwaves, "Ladies and gentlemen, it's time for a clash that will be etched in the annals of wrestling history. First Blood for the United States Championship!"

Bobby Heenan chimes in, "You can feel the tension, Tony. This isn't just about the title; it's personal, and it's about to explode right here in Nashville!"

### Lively Start:

The bell rings, and both wrestlers explode out of their corners. Savage, unpredictable as ever, rushes Sting, but the champion is ready. They trade blows in the center of the ring, neither man giving an inch. It's a frenzy of activity, and the fans are on the edge of their seats.

Sting uses his athleticism to leap over Savage, landing a series of dropkicks that send Savage reeling. Savage responds with his signature aggressive style, catching Sting with a high knee that nearly turns the tide.

### Mid-Match Mayhem:

The match spills to the outside, where the danger of the First Blood stipulation becomes even more apparent. Savage slams Sting into the steel steps, looking to draw first blood, but Sting's resilience shines through. Sting fights back, slamming Savage's head into the barricade, the sound echoing throughout the arena.

Back in the ring, Savage takes control, targeting Sting's forehead with vicious strikes, trying to open a cut. Sting, however, battles back, locking Savage in the Scorpion Deathlock in the center of the ring. The hold is irrelevant in a First Blood match, but the pain could lead to a crucial mistake.

Heenan shouts, "Savage is in trouble, Tony! Sting has him right where he wants him!"

### Climactic Confrontation:

As the match reaches its climax, both men are showing signs of wear. Sting goes for his patented Stinger Splash, but Savage desperately moves, and Sting hits the turnbuckle hard. Savage climbs to the top rope, poised for his signature flying elbow drop, but Sting recovers and shakes the ropes, causing Savage to lose his balance.

Sting climbs up, joining Savage on the turnbuckle, both men teetering high above the ring. They exchange blows, each man precariously close to disaster. Sting headbutts Savage, who falls back into the ring. Sting steadies himself and flies off the top with a massive splash.

Schiavone yells, "What a move! What a move!"

### The Bloody Finish:

Both men are down, exhaustion setting in. Savage is the first to his feet, pulling something from his tights—it's a chain. The ref doesn't see it as Savage wraps it around his fist and swings at Sting. But Sting ducks, and the chain wraps around the ring post, yanking out of Savage's grasp.

Sting rallies, a series of lefts and rights, a big right hand rocking Savage. He goes for the bat, but the referee intervenes, taking it away and turning his back on the action. Savage seizes the moment, pulling brass knuckles from his boot and landing a solid punch. Sting staggers back, a small trickle of blood starting to form on his forehead.

Heenan screams, "He's bleeding! Sting is bleeding!"

The referee turns, sees the blood, and calls for the bell.

**Winner and New United States Champion: Randy Savage**

**Match Rating: 5.25 Stars**

Post-match, Savage celebrates wildly, the new United States Champion. Sting stands in the center of the ring, blood dripping down his face, disbelief in his eyes. The feud is far from over; this was not a blow-off. It was an instant classic, and Nashville knows they've witnessed something special.

As Sting recovers, he locks eyes with Savage, who is now atop the turnbuckle with the title. The Macho Man has won the battle, but the war, it

seems, will continue.
