After the electrifying promo between Sting and Randy Savage, the atmosphere remains electric. The first chords of Alex Wright's techno-theme hit, and the crowd erupts into boos. Wright comes out, embodying the heel persona with a self-satisfied smirk, ignoring the fans as he makes his way to the ring.
Suddenly, the tempo changes as the rock anthem heralding Brian Pillman hits the speakers. Pillman, a face loved by the fans, bursts onto the ramp, high-fiving everyone he can reach as he sprints toward the ring.

**Beginning of Match**
Both men circle the ring, sizing each other up. Pillman extends his hand in a sportsmanlike gesture, but Wright smacks it away, drawing more heat from the crowd.
The match starts with a collar-and-elbow tie-up. Wright quickly gains the upper hand with a well-executed arm drag. Pillman responds by countering Wright's next move with a hurricanrana, sending Wright crashing to the mat.

**Middle of Match**
Pillman keeps the pressure up, hitting Wright with a series of dropkicks that send him stumbling into the corner. Sensing victory, Pillman scales the top rope, but Wright pushes him, causing Pillman to crash onto the ring apron.
Taking advantage, Wright executes a perfect German suplex, followed by a pin attempt, but Pillman kicks out at two. Wright begins to argue with the referee, giving Pillman a moment to recover.

As Wright turns back toward Pillman, he's met with a kick to the midsection, setting him up for Pillman's finisher, the tornado DDT. Pillman executes it flawlessly and covers Wright for the pin. 1-2-3!
