Once again, we send our fans home happy from each contest at the Kirby Center. I know we've had at least one other season with a perfect home record.
Over the last few seasons, I've begun to recruit players with more questionable commitments to playing defense, provided they are explosive scorers.
Joe Lien was the first player of this type I remember signing.
Tim Hutchinson was another, and
Thomas Lucy is the best example of a current Leopard with those spots. I surround the offensive stars with hard-nosed defenders, and the desired result is a team like this one: a team that can score while doing a good job of preventing our opponents from making shots. Our margin stats that pertain to shooting and scoring all look good.
We were also a very good rebounding team this year, another quality I like to see.
