Rumor is that this Friday will be Team Standouts, another wave of affinity-based content for theme teams, with a new set for each franchise to build a high-end player. If so, likely a big wave of new players who will be a major effect. Hard to tell what the market will do, I'm likely to be cash heavy... I may stock up on decent players from the Browns, including Josh Cribbs, on the assumption they will be part of the set for the new bigshot CLE guy.
For Cleveland... strong candidates for the big new historical player could be: any of several QB (Otto Graham, Bernie Kosar, Brian Sipe), RB Jim Brown (would be a waste), CB Frank Minnifield or Hanford Dixon, S Thom Darden, LB Clay Mathews, D'Qwell Jackson, or Chip Banks, DT Michael Dean Perry, and plenty others.
