Football Manager 2022 is free to play at Epic thru the weekend

I gave it a try and it's seriously one of the deepest simulation games I've come across, to the point where it was kind of overwhelming at first but when you get the hang of it, it's super fun!

I know very little about soccer, so I tried one of the earlier versions, but with no tutorial then, I just had no clue what to do. It's also a free to play weekend on Steam too

I agree! My last version was 20, but I'm going to pickup 22 soon. It really is completely different than any other career sim. It feels like you're actually managing a group of human beings , rather than a collection of statistics.

I can't really get behind playing one of those games for only a weekend

FM22 is available on Xbox Game Pass for PC if you have been considering that for other games already.

And the good one that most of us already have is: Xcom 2


And the maybe good one that most of us don't likely have: Insurmontable-where you are a mountaineer trying to get up and down a mountain

I just want to know where Epic was when I was a broke kid/teenager who couldn't afford the games I wanted. I envy today's gaming youth.

Now as an adult time is more of a factor for playing games then money.

Hard to believe the leaps and bounds computer/gaming technology has taken-from next to nothing when I was growing up to what we have today

2) Riverbond-A co-op adventure game for 1-4 players in a Minecraft-like Voxel world where you try to smash everything

2)Paradigm-also a crazy adventure game set in a post apocalyptic eastern European country of Krusz. You play as a mutant with weird growths on your head and you have a genetically altered sloth that vomits candy.

Terraforming Mars-the digital adaptation of the highly rated board game. I keep meaning to give this one another try, but its always come across as "too mathy" for me.

Ah forgot to mention above but I see Fall Guys is becoming a free to play game at Epic in June

And the Mystery Guest today is: Bioshock: The Collection, which contains remastered editions of Bioshock 1 and 2, and the complete Edition of Bioshock Infinite. Don't think I've ever played these before. There is another Mystery game next week

Epic's gift to you this week is:Maneater_a RPG where you play as a shark-this one seems a step down from the other free ones offered-unless of course you are a fan of Shark Week. This ends Epic's mystery game, so back to your normal next week

1)Geneforge 1:Miutation-an old school RPG where you have your own custom made mutant monsters to help you.


2)Hood: Outlaws and Legends-a PvPvE co-op game where you try to get the biggest heists


3) Iratus: Lord of the Dead-I have this one-its a turn based Roguelike strategy game with Darkest Dungeon like combat. You lead an angry necromancer and his army of undead in a quest to return to the surface world.

2) Wonder Boy: The Dragons Trap-an action adventure, platformer game with hand drawn animations. You've been cursed by the evil dragon and turned into half human and lizard, and you must find the cure

A bit of a snoozer this week unless you are a fan of the already free game Shop Titans, or a fan of WWI games:


1) Shop Titans-get to level 8 this week and get a large gift giveaway


2) Tannenberg:Eastern Front-a single or multiplayer WWI Combat experience

Bad timing on Epic's part this week-the last thing I want to play in this heat is a game about lawn mowers-yes its Lawn Mowing Simulator. I think this is the rare game I don't even bother "buying" from them

A fun co-op game is the free game this week-it's:


Unrailed- Build a endless train track among randomly generated maps. You and your friends have to cooperate and communicate so your train doesn't get derailed. Get across the map and upgrade and add to your train.

Cook, Serve, Delicious 3 is the free game this week

So unless they've added another free game I haven't seen yet, this week is a downer. Rumbleverse, Boom Boxer Pack for the already free Rumbleverse game is the only free "game" this week
