Turns out there's a whole thing you gotta do. The base game was claimable just by logging in to Epic on the Big Day.

The DLC, you have to sign up for Total War Access, link your TWA account to your Epic Games account, and then claim a redeemable code from the Total War website. THEN you have to redeem that code with Epic Games.

Little more convoluted, but it's still free.

I actually found another game from mySteam wishlist to buy here. As Far as the Eye-a turn based roguelike city builder strategy mix. You are on a mystical world trying to get to the Eye at the center of the world. The map reminds me a bit of Slay the Spire's map where you have several paths to choose from and you get random events/battles etc. There is a skill tree as well as you go

Fwiw, I think Endzone: a world apart is better than Surviving the aftermath if you're looking for a post apocalyptic city builder. Surviving isn't a bad game by any means, but I feel Endzone just does things better.

Yeah I've seen a few let's play's of Endzone, and I think I agree. Paradox games can be kind of mathy/micro-managerial, and I think I would feel that way towards it if I buy it.
