And Lego's it is:
Lego Builder's Journey-a puzzle game where you have to follow the rules or not to continue on your journey Tomorrow's clue is a radiation symbol so I assume a Fallout game, Duke Nukem or something similar |
Quote:
They whiffed on today though |
Quote:
I was thinking of getting Wasteland 3 (I'm halfway through 2) so I hope that's tomorrow game. If not then it's part of Humble Choice right now. |
Quote:
Ah yes could be Wasteland too, had forgotten about that |
Quote:
I know you have probably heard this before, but you could free trial game pass PC and have plenty of time to beat Wasteland 3. |
Yep, whiffed on today which I'm fine with. Honestly, other than what they had for Dec 23, I'd be ok with that list being totally wrong.
|
Quote:
Yep its the original Fallout, plus Fallout 2 and Fallout Tactics. Tomorrow's hint looks like an imposing man or perhaps robot? No clue what this is |
Was hoping for Wasteland 3 since I have Fallout 1, 2, and Tactics free from GOG. Might need to pick up the Humble Choice thing now to get it, although when am I ever going to find time to play these games.
|
Yeah. Wasteland 3 is really a great game. Great writing, combat, cool choices, cool music. I loved it.
|
11.99 for Wasteland 3 with the team sale.
|
Thomkal is slacking, maybe the weather cut his power.
Today's game is Encased The symbol for tomorrow's game is a "M" so I'm thinking the game will be from the Metro series. |
Quote:
If slacking means taking a shower, then yes I was slacking :) Encased has been on my wish list for a while so glad to cross that one off the list. Encased is a tactical RPG in an alt 1970's. Maybe it can be a replacement for Wasteland? :) I think you are right about what the next game is, the only other thing that came to mind was something from Monster Island |
Quote:
NH for the win! It's Metro Last Light:Redux-another I already have in my Epic Library. Tomorrow's clue looks to be a knife or sword. No clue what it could be |
Quote:
A some logs on fire maybe? |
Quote:
Don't think so, but even so I don't know what it is. :) |
One site I visit suggests that it is going to be quite a major title.
|
Allegedly today's game is Death Stranding
|
Quote:
Alleged becomes reality-pretty good Xmas present I'd say |
Today's game is another I have not heard of:
F.I.S.T: Forged in Shadow Torch It's a Metroidvania scrolling type of fighter |
tomorrow's clue appears to be some kind of bomb or explosive?
|
And today's free game is: Severed Steel
This is a First person shooter where you only have one arm. It looks very stylish and has all the things FPS are known for. Tomorrow's game hint is some kind of sword. |
Today's game is Mortal Shell, an action RPG.
Tomorrow's clue looks like a potion bottle to me, maybe an apple, maybe a bomb. |
And today's free game is a biggie:
Dishonored: Definitive Edition There's a second freebie too: Eximus-a FPS/RTS hybrid with space based Combat That is the end of the holiday freebies. Stay tuned for next week as it looks like Kerbal Space Program will be free. |
Also they're giving away some game called Eximus.
Looks like they're stopping with the daily giveaway. Next week though they're giving away Kerbal Space Program and a stand-alone expansion to Shadow Tactics, two games I always wanted to try. |
FYI Amazon Prime is giving away Dishonered 2.

Three free games this week, one I have not heard of and two goodies:
1)DKO-Divine Knockout. a third person platform fighter where you play as a god and you are trying to knock the other god off the platform 2)First Class Trouble-a party game set on a starliner headed for disaster caused by an A.I. You must work together with your fellow humans to save yourselves and the starliner while trying to figure out which players are actually robots created by the A.I. to stop you. I've seen the Yogscast play this several times and it looks pretty fun and crazy 3) Gamedec-You play as a solo player game detective who solves crimes in virtual worlds. It's an isometric, Cyberpunk RPG. |
Just one game this week, it's
Epistory-Typing Chronicles-a fun and frustrating game where you play as a little girl riding a giant fox who fights and insectile corruption from an origame world. I already have this and you will need to be a good and quick typist to do well here. Worth a try though given its uniqueness |
Two games I've not heard of before are the free games this week:
1) Adios-a mostly unique first person story. You are a pig farmer in Kansas and your old friend, a hitman, brings another body to bury in the pigpen and finally you have had enough-and make a decision on stopping it. The game then follows the results of that decision. 2)Hell is Others-a horror top down shooter set in a city of endless night and straddles the line between reality and insanity |
Two free games this week:
1) City of Gangsters-I remember when this came out thinking it was a unique take on a management tycoon game. You build up a criminal organization to take over the city. 2)Dishonored :Death of the Outsider. You are a mercenary for hire where you team up with your mentor to kill the god-like Outsider. |
I may not be available today to report on the free games this week, so feel free to do it for me, thanks,
|

|
Epic's free game this week is Warhammer 40,000 Gladius-Relics of War-its a rare venture into a 4x strategy game set in the Warhammer universe.
|
Curious that they haven't announced next week's giveaway. There must be a sale or something about to happen.
And Epic did announce they're continuing the giveaways throughout 2023. |
Next week is showing Chess Ultra and World of Warships for me.
Sent from my vivo 1937 using Tapatalk |
