Sorry I never posted pics. I have no idea why I went to my blog posts for the first time in years. But anyway, Zeva is still with us. She's going on 15 now. She's fat and lazy lolUnfortunately she was diagnosed with cancer a few months ago and then tore her ACL slipping on ice.
It sucks, but she is hanging on and taking meds to help with the symptoms. The vet said she isn't in pain so we are just managing her now. Crazy how time fly's.
My other dog Charlie is 14 and just recovered from his third bout of pancreatitis. This time he was slow to get better. I didn't think he was gonna make it. But he is back to normal. He still runs and plays and acts like he's 3.
But again, unfortunately, he coughs a lot. And I mean a lot. He even wakes up and coughs. We took him to the vet and they wanted $300 for an X-ray. We decided to put it off for now. The vet suspects some sort of lung cancer. We don't smoke so it's not from that. Ugh. Dogs man. They are great when they are growing up with you, but when you get close to the end, it hurts seeing them slowly deteriorate.
Anyway, sorry about the sadness of this post. They are still doing ok, and we still love them unconditionally. Charlie can be hilarious. I hold him and blow in his face and he playfully snaps at me and I call him shark Charlie. And if I say it he will stop and look at me like it's time to play. lol

The UCTX Tanners are now in the 2015 season coming in ranked as the #14 team in the nation. After signing the #4 recruiting class they are still in a rebuilding process as Senior WB Davey Dawson graduates. True Freshman Tanner Jones will have some big shoes to fill as the UCTX Tanners open the season up against the #10 Odessa State Dust Devils. As the Tanners receive the ball first they drive down field and score in the opening possession thanks to a heavy work load for SR Running Back Ian Randle. Odessa State answerable right back with a 64 yard TD rush off a read option. The Tanners Defense is young and inexperienced as they are starts only 1 true SR. The rest of the game Odessa State has their was with the Tanners and UCTX falls to Odessa State 31-14. Next game the UCTX Tanners host the Arkansas Razorbacks. Back and forth the game goes as the Tanners hold the lead for majority of the game. The Tanners hold a 21-17 lead with 1:34 left in the 4th. Arkansas drives down field and takes the lead 21-24 with 30 seconds left and UCTX is out of timeouts. 4 completed out routes to JR WR Nolan Shaw puts UCTX across the 50. With 12 seconds left Coach Grimes decides to play for the FG and go to OT. Slant route across the middle and Jones finds husband security blanket Nolan Shaw. Shaw breaks a tackle and heads to the sidelines. Breaking two more tackles Shaw dives for the pylon from the 2 and breaks the goal line! Tanner said pull off the victory 28-24. Next game the Tanners will take on rivals Muskegon. Muskegon is currently the #3 team in league he nation and are coming off a 2014 National Championship Win. Can the Tanners make a huge statement and stay in the race for a BCS appearance? We will find out soon if true Freshman QB Tanner Jones can create some more magic and upset one of the best teams in the nation at home.

No game stats, but when I completed season one w / CIN, I ended up with a Top 5 pass D / bottom 5 run D / Bottom 5 pass O and a top 5 rush O.However:
Total yards / points / turnovers were pretty much even between CPU and HUM.
For me, it was pretty "even" overall and each game could have gone either way.
I used the stock 75 man roster with no edits.
That in conjunction with team choice / user ability / playstyle will all alter overall result.

Thanks Ren, glad you're enjoying the set! Great to hear it also works with the patched versions. So much of the balance is based on timing, which is something that usually gets messed with as an unintended consequence of the updates, etc.

TM shared your set with me. I was reluctant to move over from my AM set on 1.14, but I dove into 1.17 with your set, last night. You nailed it, once again. Nice job. I played YR1-3 on AM, but I kicked off YR4 last night on AP. Side note: OOTB is legit. I played OOTB for my first season and a half before patching up and sitting on 1.14. With you using this set OOTB, it shows it holds up well.

Thank you kindly. I don't see a new PM, but I'll keep an eye out for it. I will say, having played NCAA Football since the late 90's, and bouncing on and off this site for a couple of years, finally electing to chart a Dynasty has REALLY kicked up my love for the game. I mean, I used to buy each new release, starting new Dynasties with each version, abandoning Dynasty runs that were 20+ seasons long, just so I could focus on the newest version, but man...this platform OS has is excellent. There's still some Generators I wish they had, though I know I can simply craft my own, but sometimes you simply want to input the data, especially with repeatative functions.
If I get into modding, I'll become a hermit for the rest of my life...not that I will care, cause I'll be one stoked hermit.
Thanks for all the help; that's what I've enjoyed most about this online community.

I'd be willing to take a look at it, Parent. I don't know if I'd move forward with it immediately due to time constraints, but reading your review, and you noting all the potential manipulation it creates, certainly has me curious. If I do start modifiying, would I need to re-start my Dynasty? Thanks for the shout out to my Lobos! Season 1 is done; lost our bowl, but had a better-than-expected season, and our HC and DC bolted for greener pastures. Recruiting class ended up ranked 116th....ouch, so we may see some regression in Year 2, but it's a marathon, not a sprint.

Excellent write-up! If I could get into modding, I'm sure I'd never leave my house, but my lack of free-time keeps me from venturing into those waters, so I just play the game as is (yah, boring BCS). Maybe, one day, I'll give it a whirl, especially since it offers soooo many advantages and additional perks to Dynasty Mode.

Hey KennyPowers88!I gave up on AM after trying ( VERY unsuccessfully) to beat something somewhat realistic out of that level with both M18 and M19.
As a result, I have no idea how this setup will translate from AP to AM.
Since it addresses "general physics" (speed / timing v spacing), it MAY help with those areas.
If so, then working the QBA and INT sliders to compliment would be the track to take.
Sorry I can't be of more definitive help, but AM remains a mystery to me.

Hey King! Good to see you back at it. As usual, I'm on the dreaded All Madden quest. Lucky for me, the boosts of years past seem to be as mild as ever. Genuinely impressed by how stable the mode is.So I'm in the process of giving your sliders here a run on All Madden. But knowing you, you've certainly given this a try. So any tips or tweaks you recommend for these setting on AM? Perhaps something that will decrease interceptions and QB accuracy as these are the usual culprits?

Thanks for the reminder on Defensive Assist (L1), Tony.I forgot to add that to the blog post in the "Don't Use / OP for the USER" section, so I just did.
Touching that at ANY point during a play, pretty much blows up whatever the CPU was trying to run.
The Auto Flip thing doesn't surprise me.
"Spacing" is key to the CPU's perception of what works for them and what won't.
Having it OFF (as opposed to default) likely just confuses the AI.
Haven't seen anything wacky out of the CPU in the kicking game thru 3 / 4 of a season, so haven't seen need for edits, but good to know.
When settings are "off" a major tell are those CPU moonshot FG attempts and / or the inability to coffin corner / down a punt inside the 10.
So far, so good on all that.

Oh sh!t, here is something small but wonderful I've been doing:Turn every K and P's KPOW down by 10 (just make sure the K is at least one or better than P, or that legacy glitch).
This is perfect. Punts look and are statistically way better, and best, they don't line up for 68 yard FGs any more

I don't know why quite yet, but with auto flip on, the CPU is much more deliberately hitting holes committing to one cuts. With it off, I've seen more instances of the cpu hitting a wide lame and then for no sensible reason cut hard into a defender. Quite literally tackling himself...That, and holding L1, at any point. This I feel is OP snorting steroid hotrails off of OPs balls. Try it, pick the MLB and hold L1, amd watch everyone laser to the ball and insta shed. Don't touch it and routinely get scorched when you should.

Game is pretty stable, so I don't THINK variances with those options will skew the core result.

HB1TD has some books for defense online, they look promising but now that I know it affects wheater I’m worrying if it also has negative impact on gameplay. With EA you never know.

When you use two profiles / two controllers / custom books, the weather is the same every game. Sunny / Clear / etc.
No rain / snow / etc.
