Metacritic scores say boxing is still better!

I know some will say Metacritic scores don't hold weight anymore but are these the people who want to believe what fits them. So, I did a search on Google to see where EA UFC stands compared to Fight Night Champion.

EA UFC PS4- Metascore 69

EA UFC Xbox One- Metascore 71

VS.

EA FIGHT NIGHT CHAMPION Xbox 360- Metascore 86

EA FIGHT NIGHT CHAMPION Playstation 3- Metascore 84

Now let's see how it measured up to the THQ UFC game.

THQ UFC Undisputed 3 Xbox 360- Metascore 85

THQ UFC Undisputed 3 Playstation 3- Metascore 86

Boxing is dead and UFC/MMA is on the rise?!? I want to understand the excused we are giving. I think it has to do with fans like boxing, fans want more content, and fans want realism and depth.

Undisputed and FN Champion have a strong background in combat sports. THQ was making MMA games on PS1 as was EA with Knockout kings. EA has only made two MMA games total, one at Tiburon and the latest at Canada. I personally think that the exposure that UFC gets compared to what boxing gets is the reason we don't get a new boxing title. There is a UFC event every other week whereas we might get a decent fight from a great boxer once or twice a year if lucky. I stopped watching boxing as much for that fact, better quality fights and more of them.

Yeah, but the producers were so sure EA UFC was going to do better than Fight Night Champion. They have been saying UFC/MMA is going to bury boxing for over 3 years. Boxing has been having some great fights over the last the last 8 months. People(CASUAL FANS) are look for an explosive heavyweight, Tyson spoiled them.

FN Champion was a really solid game. Hope to see another one soon. MMA has Ronda Rousey, that's all. Boxing due for a comeback (Deontay Wilder a name to remember). Boxing has history, it has the highest paid athletes in any sport (Floyd and Pacquiao), it's one of the all time classic sports, and one of the all time classic video game sports too. No contest.
