I went and saw Bruno tonight ...

And I haven't laughed that hard at a movie in the theater that I can remember in my life. I was in stitches almost from the start. It doesn't hurt that I loved the Ali G Show (have both seasons on DVD) and I loved Borat.

I very rarely want to see a movie badly enough that I can't wait for it on DVD, maybe 2 or 3 movies a year. This is one of those movies, partially because I am familiar with the Bruno character from the Ali G Show and I had always hoped to see the character fleshed out (no pun intended).

Now I know many people will find it offensive, extremely crude, juvenile, and just plain stupid. None of those things should deter you from seeing it if you go into it expecting to be shocked and looking for a good laugh.

Don't expect a 2 hour witty well written, deep plot. Don't expect characters you can relate with. Just watch it for what it is, a very funny mockumentary.

I say well done SBC, well done.

Bruno was good, but I thought Borat was much, much better. Bruno had some LOL moments, but I was laughing through every scene in Borat.

Good write up I thought Bruno was one of the funniest movies that I have seen in quite some time now. I don`t know what SBC can do now to top Bruno and Borat. I`d love to see another Borat movie.
